The BollyAus Network Inc. was founded in 2017 by a group of recent university alumni and current tertiary students from around Australia. The organisation is the first of it’s kind in the nation, as it aims to encourage participation, preserve culture, promote and foster a sense of community and close the gap between youth dancers, singers, and other artists involved in South Asian performing arts in Australia.
In order to create community and close the gap we are about creating opportunities that celebrate South Asian performing arts whilst providing the space for youth artists to learn and develop, collaborate with other similar minded individuals, and showcase their shared passion in events that brings individuals together from all over the nation.
We strongly believe that art as an ever changing medium of expression, defines the Australian-Desi performer- whose influences involve both their eastern and western origins, upbringings and ultimately their unique stories as first and second generation South Asian Australians.
Watch Australia's best youth dance teams compete in the country's largest Bollywood Fusion dance competition.
